Our busy office is looking to hire an enthusiastic, motivated, competitive, and dedicated Medical Assistant that has exceptional time-management skills and is able to prioritize daily tasks. The ideal candidate has some experience in primary care and will work closely with a team of physician and Nurse practitioner. This position is also responsible for recording and analyzing patient data that is reviewed periodically.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and triage patients in a timely manner
• Identify and followup on preventative screening caregaps
• Identify and provide next follow up appointment
• Maintain medical records for doctors.
• Answer telephones and greet patients
• properly register patients
• ensure privacy of PHI
• Be familiar with insurance guidelines, and fill out insurance quality forms, when required
• Be familiar with basic medical terminology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
